David Prepares for Temple Building

22 Then David said, “^(A)This is the house of the Lord God, and this is the altar of burnt offering for Israel.”

² So David ^[a]gave orders to gather ^(B)the foreigners who were in the land of Israel, and ^(C)he set stonecutters to hew out stones to build the house of God.
